What You'll Do
Are you ready to innovate? At Cisco, you'll be at the forefront of crafting, implementing, and empowering the next-generation software stack for our routers. You'll bring your unique talents to the team that develops Cisco's IOS-XR operating system, delivering unparalleled customer value through cohesive and creative software, platforms, and solutions for our core networking customers. You'll be developing software and driving innovation on the industry's leading Network Processor silicon, SiliconOne, and the Cisco 8000 product family.
In your role as a Technical Leader, you will develop products that are deployed by some of the top tier web scalers and service providers in the world. You will collaborate with a Business Unit wide dynamic technical community, to create innovative solutions. Who You'll Work With
As an integral member of this forward-looking group, you will work with engineers who architect, design, develop and validate products and solutions for some of the world’s largest web scalers, Cloud companies, Service Providers, 5G Mobile networks. You will work in an agile environment that constantly evolves to meet customer business requirements. You will be interacting and working closely with some of the finest talent in the industry across the world. You will interact with product management team to understand the requirements, collaborate with other software developers, and work closely with quality assurance team to deliver high quality products and solutions. You will be working with top industry experts in packet queuing and scheduling technologies. We believe in making work, both significant and fun!
Who You Are
You love and take pride in developing quality code. You look for ways to make your code more reusable, scalable, and serviceable. You have experience working on real-time embedded systems and OS, such as Linux. You possess the ability to understand system-level architecture and design. Besides these, you have sufficient knowledge of product development life cycle and tools. Your good written and verbal interpersonal skills have always stood you in good stead.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/EC or equivalent.
- 8+ years in IT related experience
- Hands-on experience in C, C++ and/or Python.
- 2+ years’ experience with ASIC products.
- Prior experience with networking protocols and different Layer2/Layer3 technologies like IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, Segment Routing, Traffic Engineering Tunnels, VxLAN, GRE, EVPN, QoS, ACL etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in CS/EE/EC
- Understanding of QoS network queuing, congestion principles, QoS packet queuing and scheduling technologies
- Solid understanding of object-oriented-design principles
- Understanding of Software Engineering principles, Data structure, algorithms, Operating Systems concepts, and multithread programming.

Les employés peuvent cumuler jusqu'à 20 jours de congés payés (PTO) par an et ont accès à des absences payées pour faire face à des problèmes critiques ou urgents sans avoir à puiser dans leurs congés. Les employés participant à des plans de vente reçoivent, en plus de leur salaire de base, une rémunération incitative fondée sur les performances, qui est répartie entre les composantes sur quota et non. Pour la rémunération incitative basée sur des quotas, Cisco paie au taux standard de 1 % de la cible incitative pour chaque 1 % de chiffre d’affaires réalisé par rapport au quota jusqu’à 100 %. Une fois que la performance dépasse 100 % du quota, les taux incitatifs peuvent augmenter jusqu’à cinq fois le taux standard sans plafonnement de la rémunération incitative. Pour les éléments de performance des ventes non basés sur des quotas, tels que les objectifs de vente stratégiques, Cisco peut payer jusqu’à 125 % de l’objectif. Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
