We have an exciting Senior Systems Engineering Management opportunity open on our Americas Service Provider Cable & Media Engineering team!
As a Senior Systems Engineering Leader, you are a people-focused technical sales professional who has experience working with large Service Providers & Enterprises. You will be expected to maintain a broad knowledge of Cisco technology solutions and related customer experience programs. You will provide technical direction and mentorship to the Systems Engineering teams aligning outcome based architectures with Cox Enterprises & The Walt Disney Company.
You will be the CTO partner to the Client Director working together to demonstrate the business value of Cisco solutions, architectures, and services. You will set the three-year technical vision and direction for your accounts working with the Client Director and team. Along with the Client Director, you will review business metrics progress against the business plan, and initiate changes in anticipation of evolving market/industry trends to achieve and exceed sales goals. You will be responsible for communicating your customer requirements to our corporate development teams and maintaing a tight interlock for success.
You are a leader who is equally comfortable developing technical solutions, solving problems across the technical and business domains, and guiding others to be successful with these solutions. You have a structured approach to problem-solving and can communicate clearly, concisely, and in simple terms. You have demonstrated ability to lead C-Level discussions. You are willing to do things differently to explore new opportunities and know how to validate potential and feasibility quickly. You are passionate about making a difference and working with teams to educate and encourage them to influence change. You can comfortably navigate a large corporation and get others passionate about following your lead while being a technical mentor to others on the team.
You have at least 5 years leadership experience and proven ability to build strong relationships with peer technical leaders, sales leaders, architects, and product/software teams. You are comfortable engaging in solution ideation, technical conversations, executive communication, problem solving, and consensus building. You also demonstrate the ability to be successful in a team-oriented environment, and perform well under pressure.
