The Opportunity

The Virtual Demand Center is one of Cisco’s fastest growing sales and marketing teams and is the talent engine for Cisco Sales & Marketing with diverse and motivated teams that consistently deliver profitable growth.

We serve our customers through a series of selling motions to drive higher value and an optimal experience from Cisco solutions to drive relevant business outcomes. As an Account Development Representative, you will gain a deeper understanding of Cisco’s solutions and customers. You will be surrounded by, learn from, and be inspired by some of the best marketing and sales professionals in the industry. You will learn who we sell to, why they care and what makes Cisco relevant. You will receive continuous enablement and coaching, focusing on skills and attributes which will make you successful in your core role and get you set for future success.


What You'll Do

  • Drive new pipeline for assigned target accounts using an Account-Based strategy
  • Target, prospect to and nurture high potential accounts by creating qualified opportunities (customer meetings) for the account team through an inbound and outbound motion
  • Work directly with customers to uncover business goals that match with Cisco products, then set qualified introductory meetings for the account manager and/or specialist
  • Share feedback on ways to improve the customer experience, and on ways to improve the existing business processes.
  • Position yourself for success within Cisco by actively participating in continuous learning opportunities
  • Build strong relationships and work closely with leaders in Sales and Marketing where we pull together to maximize the win for our business

  • Desired: 2+ years’ B2B selling experience in similar or adjacent industry, start-up or consultancy company, ideally in sales with tech knowledge
  • Desired: You have proven ability and success in understanding market and customer insights
  • Desired: Previous experience and success in a lead development or sales prospecting role.

Desired skills

  • Fluent English required. German as a 2nd language would be advantageous. All other EMEA languages would be a benefit.

Pour la rémunération incitative basée sur des quotas, Cisco paie au taux standard de 1 % de la cible incitative pour chaque 1 % de chiffre d’affaires réalisé par rapport au quota jusqu’à 100 %. Une fois que la performance dépasse 100 % du quota, les taux incitatifs peuvent augmenter jusqu’à cinq fois le taux standard sans plafonnement de la rémunération incitative. Pour les éléments de performance des ventes non basés sur des quotas, tels que les objectifs de vente stratégiques, Cisco peut payer jusqu’à 125 % de l’objectif. Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
