What You’ll Do

As a Systems Architect, you will be part of an distinguished team of hard-working Public Sector Systems Engineers & Architects who are changing how our customers educate, protect and serve while mapping Cisco solutions to business outcomes. You'll have access to Cisco's broad technology and applications portfolio in a variety of vertical markets, including State, Local Government and Education. In addition to technological aptitude and eye for business, your interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills will show passion and confidence. You will keep up to date on relevant competitor solutions, products and services. You will assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities. You will actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provide consultative support in area of specialization to other Systems Engineers and Architects.

Who You'll Work With

You'll also partner with a hardworking group of Account Managers and Extended Team who share the same technology passion as you.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • 6+ years related experience.
  • Extensive experience in baseline SE skills, and in-depth knowledge in at least one passion area in either Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Route/Switch/Wireless, or Programmability.
  • Specialist in relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.
  • CCIE or equivalent experience and certifications
  • Basic understanding of programmability
  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
