What You'll Do

You play a critical role in enabling Cisco to take Data Center Virtualization Solutions to market in areas of Network & IT Infrastructure and Public/Private/Hybrid DC Cloud Solutions. Your role as Data Center Product Specialist requires a balance of sales/business experience and technical acumen. You will be working closely with Cisco Account Team across all customer segments (Tier-1 Enterprises, Government Agencies, and Service Providers) to develop and drive growth of DC business. The role will invariably include working on incubating, nurturing Transformational opportunities in customer journeys.

You have solid experience in the following primary responsibilities that make-up the role:

  • Engagement with the business & technical decision makers within the Accounts with identified Data Center opportunities of Networking, Compute, Storage, Automation, and Applications.
  • Be on the forefront of understanding and being able to communicate Cisco’s Strategy and Vision in new technology directions.
  • Ability to drive Biz & Market development for AI solutioning Architecture. Experienced in managing AI project(s).
  • Having the ability to build in depth business expertise in the underlying and associated technologies and architectures.
  • Provide product expertise with business value for customers including ROI/TCO analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of content and messaging that emphasizes Cisco’s strengths in this market and resonate with both the field, partners and customers
  • Ability to execute on a business plan to gain market share, build solid relationships with customers and internal constituents.
  • You will be responsible for gaining market penetration with the associated solutions as well as establishing a breadth of reference accounts in a variety of verticals
  • Ability to do business forecasting on monthly/quarterly basis and achieve annual plans
  • Articulate and positioning business value of Cisco innovative DC architecture solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Developing bill of materials that reflect the underlying Architectural solutions
  • Contributing to the Cisco response for RFI, RFP and RFQ documents that are issued by customers.
  • You will be a trusted advisor and a leader in Data Center technology direction and innovation

Who You'll Work With

The ASEAN Data Center business is a key growth area for Cisco with strong and consistent growth record. This role is ultimately responsible for the Go to Market strategy and growth for our Data Center products and solutions across ASEAN. You will be required to work closely with the Worldwide solutions peers, internal account teams, DC Architecture Sales teams and our partners.

You will collaborate with the Sales team to shape/drive top priorities and core initiatives focused on long-range growth and profitability within country.

Who You Are

Product Sales Specialists will be responsible for gaining market penetration with the associated solutions as well as establishing a breadth of reference accounts in a variety of verticals.

You have at least 10 years of experience as a Product Management or Networking/Compute Specialist or pre-sales Technical with Data Center or Cloud Solution vendors or equivalent experience in other related roles.

You can demonstrate strong pre-Sales skills and experience in both Data Center infrastructure and Cloud-Solution/Automation technology area:

A. DC Architecture skills and experience (in at least 5 areas)

  • Networking knowledge
  • Virtualization, storage and data management systems
  • x86 Compute / Nvidia GPU hardware
  • Operating systems: Linux, Microsoft Windows, etc…
  • Private / Hybrid cloud / Big Data deployment
  • Understanding Enterprise applications and/or Development environments

B. Pre-sales skills and experience

Une fois que la performance dépasse 100 % du quota, les taux incitatifs peuvent augmenter jusqu’à cinq fois le taux standard sans plafonnement de la rémunération incitative. Pour les éléments de performance des ventes non basés sur des quotas, tels que les objectifs de vente stratégiques, Cisco peut payer jusqu’à 125 % de l’objectif. Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
