What You'll Do

Cisco is looking for an experienced Director to transform the Customer Quality organization into a continuously more digital, agile, and customer-focused team that uses technologies (AI/ML, block chain, Telemetry, etc.) to improve the real time strategic Cisco customer quality experience. Reporting to the VP of Technology & Quality (T&Q), Supply Chain Operations (SCO), you will drive a customer approach across T&Q through your globally diverse Customer-Focused Quality and Failure Analysis (FA) sub teams. You will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of the business, particularly with Engineering, CX (Services) and Sales, to ensure the strategy and execution of Customer Quality initiatives, programs and metrics—in alignment with Cisco’s business strategies. You will also coordinate with other functions in SCO and CX Repair to deliver a highly efficient and resilient FA ecosystem that addresses failures from the customer (field), factory and NPI that encompasses hardware, software, material science and components. This role leads customer briefings related to quality globally, including regional customer quality issues resolution, and regional quality reviews with Sales Systems Engineering and CX Customer Success.

The 60+ engineering team has presence in the US, Mexico, Hungary, India, China, Malaysia, and Thailand, and as the Director of Customer Quality, you will manage our partner ecosystem to deliver strategic customer outcomes, and you will work with talent at all levels, from executives to engineers in SCO, Engineering, CX, Sales, and IT.

Who You Are

You are a results-oriented, operationally savvy leader with global experience who has real passion for customer quality development. You are passionate about transforming a globally diverse team to enable customer quality transformation to advance Cisco’s market leadership.

At a minimum, you have a Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, 12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Product Development, Process Engineering, and/or Quality, and at least 10 years of people leadership experience managing a distributed team. You should have demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional teams, influencing and partnering with key partners, and inspiring tools, processes and organization transformation. Experience with customer engagement and digital transformation are desired.
