Our team is responsible for creating impactful stories, messaging, and content to support Cisco’s strategy, including Cisco’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy. We craft simple, memorable messaging and content that is consistently activated through world-class enablement and marketing campaigns across Cisco and our partners. Our goal is to help accelerate Cisco’s growth by creating and enabling the company on a differentiated and unified story.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned product or solutions marketer who is an amazing storyteller and passionate about B2B marketing. You are a strong technologist who has domain experience across different areas, including networking, security, and artificial intelligence (AI). You have a demonstrated ability to quickly digest and synthesize complex, technical topics and generate compelling narratives that resonate in the market, are aligned across internal stakeholders, and accelerate business impact. You deeply understand technical messaging and how to develop strong solution stories, content, enablement, and a perspective on the market and competitive landscape across multiple strategic areas. You have a proven ability to build and leverage relationships constructively and collaboratively at all levels in large organizations — including influencing and partnering with senior executives and moving diverse teams of peers and staff members forward the right way.
What You’ll Do
You will work with teams across the organization to create compelling narratives tied to the most strategic areas of focus for the company. As a strategy marketer, you will focus on the areas that Cisco is investing in to grow the portfolio to convey the innovation and growth that customers, partners, and the market can expect. You will be responsible for creating strong solution messaging and positioning across multiple dynamic areas and for deeply understanding the market segments, personas, needs and use cases. To keep the messaging evergreen, you will set up a feedback loop to adapt it based on customer, sales, and analyst input and success stories. You will collaborate with marketing, global communications, product management, sales, technical sales, and partner teams to ensure the messaging is impactful and deeply integrated into go-to-market plans. You will create critical core material including messaging frameworks, first call and executive briefing decks, enablement material, assets (blogs, research, videos, etc.), event kits for field marketing, and more. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring the stories to life through demos, customer stories, and other proof points and activate the messaging consistently through enablement and marketing campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B technology Product/Solutions Marketing
- Domain expertise in one or more areas of networking, security, observability, and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Strong experience crafting cross-portfolio messaging
- Strong experience in messaging and content development across different personas and technologies
- Demonstrated ability to drive messaging and positioning projects at scale across large organizations and partners
- Strong experience functioning as a growth partner for sales and extended marketing teams
- Thrives in ambiguity, with a proven history of adapting quickly based on the needs of the team and business

Les employés participant à des plans de vente reçoivent, en plus de leur salaire de base, une rémunération incitative fondée sur les performances, qui est répartie entre les composantes sur quota et non. Pour la rémunération incitative basée sur des quotas, Cisco paie au taux standard de 1 % de la cible incitative pour chaque 1 % de chiffre d’affaires réalisé par rapport au quota jusqu’à 100 %. Une fois que la performance dépasse 100 % du quota, les taux incitatifs peuvent augmenter jusqu’à cinq fois le taux standard sans plafonnement de la rémunération incitative. Pour les éléments de performance des ventes non basés sur des quotas, tels que les objectifs de vente stratégiques, Cisco peut payer jusqu’à 125 % de l’objectif. Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
