This position requires a motivated, experienced Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer to support a large, strategic program, aligned to aggressive transformational agendas. Strong technical leadership and ability to translate business/mission requirements into technical solutions are key skills for success. A seasoned mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent communication and consulting skills, has well-positioned this Cisco team as trusted advisors to our customers.  

As a Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer who specializes in Cisco Data Center solutions, you will support an important customer through the development of complex designs, implementation support of Cisco technologies, and delivery of optimization services to one of Cisco's largest customers in the United States.  This position requires onsite support at customers location four to five days per week.

Who You'll Work With
This Cisco team is comprised of geographically dispersed engineers, that design, architect, and support work on critical customer networks with leading edge Cisco solutions. This team provides direct support to a US Government Network, leading the way in providing proactive foundational engineering and operations support to a customer that expects their networks and data centers to perform at the highest possible levels. We work with our customer in getting their infrastructure ready for future architectures and solutions and assisting them in navigating through proof of concept and introduction of the same. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills are traits of successful consultants in this organization. We are strongly focused on continuous development and training on new products/technologies that keep us in a leading position as industry network consulting leaders.

As a part of this team, you will work directly with our customers and gain hands on experience and exposure into their networks. You will collaborate on a variety of projects that have a real impact. Who You Are
The candidate has 7+ years of experience as a network engineer supporting Cisco Data Center technologies/products in large scale enterprise environments, with a deep understanding of data networks and solid foundation in enterprise routing and switching technologies. Large-scale enterprise Data Center design and deployment experience is desired. Candidate should be a CCIE certified or CCIE level, preferably in Data Center. Military Veterans who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply.  

Must Have Skills:

  • CCIE certified preferred or CCIE level experience with Cisco Data Center platforms.
  • Subject matter expertise in Cisco Data Center technologies - Nexus, HX, UCS, UCS-X, ACI, Nexus Dashboard, Intersight technologies.
  • Ability to lead, articulate a vision, influence, and guide teams in dynamic strategic environments through design, deployment, analysis and troubleshooting of complex networks.
  • Capability to anticipate issues, evaluate risks, and proactively collaborate and lead resolution.
  • Significant experience with end-to-end architecture/design work across multiple technology areas, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
  • Strong communication, consulting and customer relationship building skills with ability to work autonomously and thrive in a transformational environment.
  • Must have a current Top Secret SCI US Government Clearance and have the ability to travel up to 10%

Pour les éléments de performance des ventes non basés sur des quotas, tels que les objectifs de vente stratégiques, Cisco peut payer jusqu’à 125 % de l’objectif. Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
