Webex Technical Enablement Specialist

An enthusiastic technical trainer with a solid background of all processes involved in providing a delightful learning experience.

Familiarity with adult instructional learning theories along with online training methodologies that encourage product adoption and mitigate potential churn.

Knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess a strong solid technical aptitude.

Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and exciting way.

Responsible for developing, preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs, the literature and materials to be used in these programs, and design exercises to enhance lectures using industry-accepted training development methodologies.

A digital native with at least 15 years of technical experience showing a true love for new technologies. A people person by nature that thrives on helping others. Patient and truly caring for others showing empathy and excitement in communication style. Natural curiosity about knowing the latest on the Cisco Webex product line as well as the technical industry. Outstanding presentation/communication skills a must. Naturally geared toward driving results. With great organizational and analytical skills and demonstrated thought leadership, they have the ability to manage detailed projects to tight timelines and respond well under pressure and uncertainty while embracing change.

Duties will include:

Strategize on building out technical training as products evolve

Collaborate with Product Development managers to know the latest on updates and changes to the product

Network with Technical Marketing Engineers and Product Management during course development

Devise product training according to organizational requirements

Work with TAC to determine course content according to customer calls and partner concerns

Identifying training needs, developing educational curricula and material and growing trainees’ engagement with learning sessions

Experience in developing technical course content both for novices and experts with technology in both the ILT and eLearning arenas

Courseware development: design, plan, develop, organize and revise all training courseware, guides and handouts for other trainers and end users.

Keep and report data on completed courses, issues etc.

Observe and evaluate results of training programs

Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements

Skills Needed:

Prior experience as a technical trainer

Webex Control Hub

Webex Collaboration product line including Webex Calling and Contact Center solutions, Cloud UC, Hybrid solutions

Courseware development: Design, plan, develop, organize and revise all training courseware, guides and handouts for other trainers and end users. Strategize and coordinate development of a comprehensive learning solution for engineers and IT admins.

Experience in developing technical course content both for novices and experts

Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Degree or related experience in a relevant technical field
