What You’ll Do 

As a Contact Centre Virtual Sales Specialist (desk based), you’ll play a vital role in scaling Cisco Contact Centre Sales by aligning closely with Collaboration Virtual Sales Specialists and interfacing with customers and partners to deliver better business outcomes and great customer experiences for our customers in the Commercial Small/Mid-Size segment. The primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

·       Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through using a blend of inbound and outbound prospecting sales tactics

·       Lead management and nurturing leads to support Marketing and Sales objectives

·       Transform marketing qualified leads to sales opportunities, by cultivating and educating prospective buyers.

·       Nurture leads until they are ready to progress in the sales cycle – provide information, discuss the product and convey value.

·       Position Cisco as a global provider of software and services for communications, collaboration and customer engagement.

·       Schedule product demonstrations, intro meetings with potential buyers between account managers and potential customers.

·       Work with your extended virtual teams to establish selling strategy to beat the competition through better targeting, positioning, and thought leadership for Cisco’s Contact Centre portfolio.

·       Own and forecast the opportunities for selling the full suite of our CCaaS solution including WFO/WFM, Analytics and AI.

·       Provide subject matter expertise in support of account teams particularly around positioning, pricing and overcoming objections.

·       Educate and support Virtual Sales Specialist (Collaboration Generalists) on opportunity qualification and positioning of the solution.

·       Improve Cisco's solution portfolio over time. As you meet with customers you will suggest improvements that ensure our customers continue to love what you sell.  


Who You Are  

The role will suit someone who is driven, and goal orientated and has experience with front-line sales development. You will have a good technical aptitude, will be genuinely interested in technology and will have the ability to quickly learn product solutions as well as general contact centre industry knowledge.

·       Outbound prospecting/inside sales experience preferably within IT / Cloud solutions.

·       Ability to analyse business opportunities and read situations well.

·       Strong attention to detail and the ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results.

·       Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others.

·       Resourceful & ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.

·       Experience of working alongside or through partner organisations. Ability to influence indirectly through this partner community as well as directly with the customer and prospect base

·       A team player and a leader of virtual teams, able to orchestrate and win complex sales cycles
