What You'll Do
The Global Virtual Sales and Engineering organization has developed the Accelerate Program to provide an opportunity for top candidates to join the Cisco Sales Team and quickly ramp up their productivity. Top performers with transferable skills will experience an 8-week training cycle that is comprised of two phases:
Traditional classroom training will be managed by the Career Acceleration Group, covering topics such as Cisco’s organization, sales segmentation, and sales methodologies. Additionally, introductory overviews of Cisco architecture will help orient new sellers on what our key offerings are, as well as how to leverage Cisco’s extensive resources to support your customers.
Once you complete classroom training, you will move into a Virtual Sales Account Manager role supporting your segment. Day to day activities while in a support role will include:
Upon completion of the program, Accelerate Virtual Sales Account Managers will be considered for open VSAM roles within their segment.
