What you’ll do

University Recruiting lead will be responsible for leading university recruiting, engagement and relations for specific function and colleges across India. In this role the person will be encouraged to build strategies, plan and execute university hiring at the site and functional level. He/she will be responsible for building relationship with internal (business groups); account managing specific functions / business groups and liaison with external partners (colleges, placements officers and candidates) for execution and fulfilling the demand. In this role the person will be required to travel to various university campuses in India for hiring and engagement activities in the specified season and based on business need and ecosystem feasibility. He / She will be responsible for demand fulfilment and will facilitate & drive the encouraged selection and engagement process for candidate recruitment and will be responsible to track & report out progress and status of hiring from time to time. The individual will be working closely with the India Emerging Talent and University Recruiting Team.  

Whom you’ll work with

The person will be required to interact with the India site partners for assigned business groups to ensure complete demand fulfilment and delivery of the same. This role will be a combination of recruiting and relationship building with key target universities. The person will be required to interact with global and cross regional team members for program execution & Implementation. 

Who you are

  • Bachelors / Master / MBA. Specialization in HR preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in staffing / recruiting with a minimum of 6 years in university recruitment and relations
  • Experience in hiring early in career talent (apprentices, interns and fresh grads) across universities or other channels. 
  • Experience in Hiring high volume in IT / SW industry. 
  • Preference for exposure to MNC culture and matrix reporting
  • Awareness of the compliance, laws and acts around hiring apprentices, minimum wages, and government guidelines.
  • nderstanding of university hiring practices in the Indian market, with visible contacts in the universities, knowledge of the Indian compensation and benefits structure, tax laws.
  • Hands on knowledge of key tools, ATS, MS office - Outlook, Excel, Word, Power-point
  • Awareness of India campus hiring pattern and season
  • Should be comfortable with travelling within the country for hiring and engagement if and when required
  • Strong & Assertive communication, Inter-personal and Presentation skills,
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate to work and grow in the early career recruiting space
  • Strong program management and stakeholder management
  • Should be able to execute on critical timelines, drive negotiations, implement talent strategy
