What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute University Recruiting related activities
  • Collaborates with business leaders to understand needs and subsequently develop campus program to attract top talent
  • Works with local business leaders on the UR strategy for the site
  • Builds relationships with Target universities for undergraduate and graduate programs 
  • Executes against the strategic global direction of university recruiting and manages the approved China UR budget; 
  • Implements best practices to increase effectiveness; drives metrics / KPI’s for success; analyses return on investment
  • Represents UR brand with pride, enthusiasm and accuracy; finds innovative ways to increase understanding of and exposure to UR amongst candidates and other key stakeholders
  • Oversees internships: receives requests from the business; manages recruiting; onboards hires; conducts reviews; makes process improvements
  • Confirms the school event calendar with dates for job fairs, presentations and office tours; 
  • Plans events from start to finish serving as a liaison between school partners, candidates and relevant UR departments
  • Actively participates in school events through attendance at job fairs and leading presentations; prepares hiring managers and various company representatives for these events
  • Conducts exploratory interviews and builds relationships with graduating students to create a talent pipeline; ensures candidates are appropriately incorporated into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Expected to drive collaboration across local business leaders, HR teams
  • Reports to the Asia UR Leader

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant fields like HR, Psychology, etc
  • In-depth understanding of the China higher education system and recruiting landscape
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in University Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or other relevant HR fields
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage projects from start to finish with minimum supervision
  • Ability to understand our complex / matrix business to place candidates in areas that align with their skills and interests and meet our business needs
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable speaking in public and leading presentations; able to engage at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work efficiently and resourcefully in a hands-on fluid environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent in building strategy for the hiring needs
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
