Cisco is searching for a Us Public Sector Cloud Compliance Relationship Lead to join the Federal Cloud sales team. This role will have responsibilities including leading our realtionship engagements with the FedRAMP JAB, FedRAMP PMO, NIST, DHS, DOJ, IRS, as well as State cloud compliance authorities.    Are you experienced in the Federal sector? Do you understand the challenges government customers face in their digital transformation and how we can help monetize and optimize their cloud strategy? 


Who You’ll Work With

You will  lead authorizing entity engagements to enable market transitions in Federal IT modernization, SmartCloud, FedRAMP and many others.  Come and join our US Public Sector Sales Team. This role will report to the US Public Sector Compliance manager and will allow you to show your project management, business development and relationship enablement skills.


Who You Are

  • You have an extensive background and understanding of product, service, and financial selling tools.  We need your experience building actionable long and short-term relationship plans built on a deep understanding of the impacts of business and technology trends
  • You understand a range of customer technologies required
  • You are extremely well-organized

You will have the following Technical Skills:

  • Technical proficiency working with a range of technologies, products and markets
  • Understanding of Cisco cloud capabilities along with broader understanding of Cisco’s hardware, software and service offerings
  • Experience with how networks and clouds interact, future role of cloud in government
  • Demonstrable experience selling complex technical solutions to executive management

Soft Skills required:

  • You've demonstrated excellent business judgment & uncompromising integrity in your work
  • You network within a client organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
  • Passion for the Federal and Public Sector business and applying cloud/SaaS capabilities to support customer mission objectives
  • You have a passion for transforming the business – People, Process, Tools, Technology
  • You are a strategic thinker with strong Problem Solving and negotiation skills

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help drive FedRAMP SaaS Offerings from Gap Analysis through ATO to First Customer Ship
  • Schedule and grow significant customer engagements
  • Participate in developing execution strategyManage Action Items
  • Participate and schedule relevant meetings with Cisco teams, Cisco Partners, 3rd Party Consultants, 3rd Party Vendors, Customers
  • Update team with weekly status reports

Required Skills & Experience:

  • You communicate effectively with Sales, Sales Leadership, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance Teams
  • Knowledge of various compliance regimes: FedRAMP, CJIS, IRS Pub 1075, CMMC, SOC 1 & 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, PCI, HIPAA, DoD IL2 & IL5
  • Extremely well-organized
  • Independent execution of tasks (self-starter)
  • Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, WebEx
  • Experience working with Federal customers and partners
  • Expertise in cloud computing for the Federal government
  • Experience of developing and selling complex solutions into the Federal community
  • You build and maintain extensive customer relationships
  • Experience in working and successfully integrating into a virtual sales organization that includes Sales (all levels) and the technical community
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional organizations
  • You influence and persuade using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way
  • Engineering, Business Administration or Economics Degree, MBA preferred
