What You'll Do

This position is the overall end-to-end TEST process architect for CABLE and High End Router products. You will engage with multi-functional engineering teams to gain in depth system hardware knowledge for new products. You will identify & apply DFx standards. You will develop and drive internal training programs and actively provide technical mentoring to teams. You will generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements. You will design, develop and deploy test hardware platforms/ solutions for Cisco's global manufacturing partners. You will analyze, tackle problems and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures. You will participate in Test Transformation initiatives and apply the concepts/methodologies to NPI operations.

The Business Entity and The Team: We are part of a team that is focused on Cisco's exciting evolution of Next Gen Architecture in Cable Access Strategy. This team is working on the highest density, highest capacity DOCSIS3.1 with full spectrum IP and MPEG Video Service and path to Virtualization by moving network functions into virtual environment among many exciting projects.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications * BSEE/CS with 8+ yrs related experience, or a MSEE/CS combined with 6+ years of related experience * Experience in RF measurement equipment and understanding of RF protocols * Strong experience with one or more scripting languages (Labview, Python, Autotest, etc) * Ability to understand the design and functionality through hardware specification and schematics * Ability to design and deploy hardware for enhanced test coverage of the product * Proven strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently or in a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Desired Skills * Experience in Manufacturing test is a plus * Experience/Knowledge in Cisco Test tools/process is highly desired * Dfx principles, DOE (Design of Experiments), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and related tool knowledge (Spotire, JMP, etc) are highly desired
