You’ll help advance the Public Sector sales teams mission of enabling those who protect, serve and educate.

Our organization serves the State/Local Government and Education. You will work with a great team of Public Sector Account Managers and partner with a talented group of Systems Engineers, who share the same passion.

Who You Are
Cisco seeks a Territory Account Manager to drive growth through the development and expansion of customer and channel relationships. You are able to effectively position Cisco solutions within various departments and functional groups with the customer to ensure that the full spectrum of Cisco solutions are being presented. In additional to driving strong customer relationships, you will need to work closely with key channel and ecosystem partners to compliment Cisco’s offerings in the market. You are comfortable selling business value at an executive level and across customer lines of business, ROI/TCO at a financial level and technical benefits at an IT level. 


You will

* Manage double digit growth in a territory utilizing a channels to market distribution model. 
* Target market opportunities by segment and leverage the available resources to aggressively pursue while also showing sales penetration within a target account list exceeding 1000 accounts. 
* Build the appropriate channel coverage model of partners to their markets. 
* Act as a virtual Regional Manager to their partners the candidate will also be responsible for planning recognition of the partners and accurately reporting sales activity to Cisco management. 


Our minimum requirements for the role are: 
* 3+ years of proven success in outside sales experience required. 
* Experience selling and/or knowledge of the business partner/customer community, strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting the Cisco installed base. 
* Experience in enabling market growth by utilizing marketing resources and improving the competence of the partner sales reps 
* Demonstrated knowledge of a process for managing a large territory, including demand generation, partner development, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management. 
* Strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand the customers' business drivers and align to Cisco solution.
