What You'll Do
You will join a very dynamic team of top-notch Data Center technical specialists focused on INSBU technologies (ACI, Tetration, Nexus 9000, Candid). You will create collateral, including white papers and technical briefs, articulate and promote the product portfolio, explain the value proposition and roadmap to key audiences including product management and technical marketing teams across Cisco segments, field teams and customers and engage with global sales teams to facilitate product ramp and sales. This will include traveling to Cisco Live events, customer locations, tradeshows related to the technologies you’ll be responsible for. You will manage cross-functional relationships for bringing new products to market - including working with engineering and sales.

You have spent 5+ years in product/technology marketing with demonstrable success creating thought leadership in a new market.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
-       B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent
-       Solid understanding of IP networking (OSPF, BGP, L2 switching) with Cisco products
-       In-depth knowledge of Nexus 9000 and Cisco ACI (hands-on experience in bring-up, configuring and monitoring of Cisco ACI)
-       Good software development skills (Python or Go or Javascript) including working with REST APIs and structured data
-       Experience with writing white papers
-       Strong written and verbal communication skills
-       Ability to build relationships with peers and among Cisco sales and systems engineering staff, cross functional stakeholders, vendor partners and customers.
