Role – G11 Technical Leader ( DCSW – Nexus )


What You ll do


What You'll Do As a Technical Leaders you are required to the highest level of technical ability, innovation, and analytical skills. 


You will need to Provide second/third level technical support for Nexus.


You will Independently work to solve problems in broad, sophisticated, and unique networks with mixed environments. 


Supports engineers from multiple teams as well as the field and aids them in problem resolution.


You will act as a focal point for large account network problem resolution and provides technical guide for Critical Accounts where Cisco is at risk. 


Effectively utilizes lab setups to debug broad and sophisticated problems and submit complete and accurate CDETS reports and supervises reports of other engineers for quality in areas of expertise.


You will Provide input to Engineering and product organizations on future product development.


Provides systems/product training both internally and externally.


Develops intellectual property and innovates within the strategy to build new service capabilities.


You will work across all Technical Leader functions:


Customer Problem Resolution: Case Reviews, CAP, RRR

nnovation: Automation (BDB/BORG), Patents, RFCs

Engineering Partnership: CER, Serviceability, Product/Feature Incubation, Field Quality/Top Issues

Talent Development: Leadership Programs/Mentoring, Drive Accountability and Culture, Self Development

Who You Are


  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent plus 8-10 years related Data Centre related experience.
  • CCIE certification in DC is a mandate.
  • Data Switching guru - You have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across Cisco platforms and multi-vendor skillset.
  • In-depth knowledge of the following areas: Data Centre Networking and Data Centre Products.
  • You should have at least 8-10 years of Networking industry experience and knowledge of products and protocols across multi-vendor products.
  • Proficiency in the following technologies: TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP), QoS, Multicast, MPLS.
  • You're able to resolve problems, figure out root cause, and deliver known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction in a expedited manner.
  • Troubleshooting experience using wireshark, or other protocol analyzer.
  • Experience with the following products / solutions is HIGHLY desirable: Cisco Nexus 2000, 3000, 5000, 7000 , ACI , VXLAN.
  • Excellent Soft skills and Customer Handling skills in high stressed / demanding environment.
  • Ability to Assertively communicate and demonstrate Technical Leadership on Troubleshooting scenarios , especially over WebEx / telephonic customer conversations.
