Welcome to XR manageability team which is responsible for developing programmable manageability interfaces for Cisco routers and switches.  The role of Senior technical lead will be to develop sophisticated device management interfaces using YANG data models to implement NETCONF and REST interfaces for Cisco IOS-XR devices. You will be responsible for the manageability of system and YANG model design for multiple features across Cisco product lines. This includes designing and implementing various tooling to automate model-driven interface implementation and testing with latest open source stacks. This job provides an ideal opportunity to participate and publish to industry groups and end customers driving the next generation of device manageability. Who You Are 

Our minimum requirements for this role: 
  • 10+ years of industry experience in successful networking device management product architecture and design
  • Industry leading experience of implementing model-driven manageability infrastructure with an emphasis on real-time performance
  • Good understanding of networking feature implementation in routers and switches
  • Strong programming experiences in C, C++, Python, and Java

Desired Skills

  • Good networking protocol (BGP, IGP, VxLAN) and feature knowledge (ACL, QoS)
  • Experience with the latest ETL stacks that take care of storing, capturing, supervising and visualizing time series data
  • Experience with OSS/BSS controllers to manage network devices
