What You'll Do

The Customer Proof of Concept Labs are the testing & validation team for Cisco's Proof of Value Services organization & are seen as the Silver Bullet in Sales. A CPOC engagement is a fully interactive experience, where Account Teams & Cisco Customers work directly with CPOC engineers, either virtually or at our facility, to conduct hands-on testing & validation of their most difficult problems.

Your goal is to create absolute customer confidence in the Cisco solution.

As a CPOC systems engineer you will deliver innovative & engaging customer presentations, execute test plans that meet customer goals & work with third party hardware & software in the development & validation of our most complex Customer solutions

Who You Are

You like hands-on work & are always looking to learn new skills & share what you learn. Automation, virtualization, & scripting in the latest languages are go to answers for how you do work. Cisco Technologies are in your DNA & your passion & desire to win shine through.

You will have recent in-depth hands-on experience with Cisco Enterprise technologies and familiarity with SDA, DNAC, ISE, AD are a major plus point. Knowledge of Cisco security portfolio is also desirable. You will also be a scripting whizz (e.g. Python, Perl, Java)

Experience in configuring and troubleshooting servers, clusters, Linux administration and experience with storage systems.

Current Cisco certifications are required and you’ll either have or be close to obtaining your CCIE. BSc or MSc degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline & deep knowledge is required in the areas of design, configuration, problem-resolution, management & performance testing.

Success in this role involves maintaining current awareness of competitive offerings and being able to effectively articulate Cisco's differentiating features and benefits.

Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills are required.

Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role within the team
