What You’ll Do
You partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions. You would bring industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers-and crafting and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
In this role, you will have direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in an assigned geography. Staying up-to-date on relevant solutions, products and services is important. You will focus on technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects and assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities. Other activities include participation as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and providing consultative support in Enterprise Networking solutions (SD-Access, SD-WAN) to other Systems Engineers.

The Systems Engineering team comprises many talented and motivated engineers, playing different roles in the area of account pre-sales management, technology deep dive, partner advocacy and engineering leadership. We place emphasis on individual development and relevancy in the market place, and strong advocate of Cisco’s own certification programs. We work closely together to help our customer solve their business problems. Our team possess diverse engineering expertise and are constantly on a look out for new skill sets to add to our team capability.
Who You Are
We are looking for an individual to play the role of an Enterprise Networking Specialist that interface between our partners/customers and Cisco's various business units. You have a start-up mentality to deliver solutions that drive business success for Cisco. Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills are necessary to ensure the level of communication is appropriately focused for the particular audience they are communicating
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Pre-sales experience and industry knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.
- Competitive knowledge in Enterprise Networking including solution, technology and product offerings.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Networking solutions. Knowledge in network security solutions is a bonus.
- Ability to work effectively and make valuable contributions.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and recommend an effective course of action.
