What you'll do:

Cisco's Corporate FP&A team is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the Consolidation of Cisco’s Long Range Strategic and Annual Plan (LRSAP) process and Quarterly Business Outlook (QBO) inputs. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has strong analytical skills as well as excellent finance and accounting knowledge. You will also be responsible for translating the LRSAP views into key inputs for Investor Day (Cisco’s Financial Analyst external event). You will get the opportunity to work with the different FP&A leads for each function as well as partner cross functionally with teams like, Strategy and Planning Team, Office of the COO and Office of the CEO.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Own long range strategy and annual plan (LRSAP) process, partner with Strategy and Planning team on total Cisco consolidation
  • Actively work to improve the annual plan process
  • Owner of Investor Day data consolidation for input into long range forecast and CFOs presentation
  • Manage the collection of Quarterly Business Outlook (QBO) inputs for meetings held by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
  • Mentor and develop team member(s) reporting directly to this role
  • As part of the Corporate FP&A team, participate in Board of Directors slide preparation as well as earnings preparation

In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with a wide range of teams, including Sales Finance, BE Finance, Strategy and Planning team, Office of the COO/CEO and many more! The ultimate output of your work supports the Corporate Finance leadership team and the CFO.

  • You have experience working and supporting executive level business partners
  • You enjoy performing financial analysis and want to learn more about the financial planning and performance of the business
  • You have strong communication skills and can level up presentation for executives
  • You have experience consolidating data and modeling
  • You have a track record for process improvements
  • You are able to coach, motivate and lead a team
  • You can successfully navigate tight timelines and prioritize tasks effectively, particularly during annual plan and QBO cycles
  • You bring a strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with 8+ years of proven experience
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and interact at all levels of the organization
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with quarterly and annual budgeting and planning process
  • Advanced excel skills required
  • At least 2 years experience in managing a team
