What You'll Do

We are hiring test engineers for our next generation infra team in Bangalore who can contribute to the team's success by ensuring high product quality. You will gain immense system level knowledge as you will get to own complex functions that are architected from scratch. You will be responsible for defining the test plan, developing the verification environment, defining and coding the test suites.

Who You'll Work With

Enterprise Networking Business (ENB), a team of about 1000+ employees responsible for switching, routing and wireless product groups in India. The Enterprise Networking Engineering teams in India are driving some of the key next generation products and is responsible for significant product portfolio for Cisco. You will work with the team that is driving the evolution and expansion into new technology areas and market segments - fastest growing Catalyst switch product line

You will be part of the team responsible for Enterprise Solution QA testing which caters to some of the highest revenue products for Cisco like the Catalyst Switching family, ASR Routers, Wireless controllers. You will help build/develop test plans, execute test cases, document results and handle any escalations in the assigned work area.

Who You Are

You demonstrate a system-level focus while understanding the impact of every component.

You have good knowledge of and exposure to network protocols as well as customer profiles and solutions are important for success in this role.

Bachelor/Masters with 9-10 years of related experience in network testing, Ethernet Switching technology

Experience in ANY of the following areas:

• Encapsulation protocols like MPLS / MPLS-TE, GRE, LISP, EoMPLS, VPLS, MGRE, VXLAN, LDP/mLD
• Netflow / Telemetry / Analytics
• L2 and Routing Protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, RIP, ISIS, etc)
• MACsec, CTS, SGACL, IPSEC, First Hop security, ACL Policies, Network Data Analytics, Dot1X.

Automation : Python/TCL scripting.
