What You'll Do

We need a Software Engineer who will help us Automate Design, Implement and Operate network at Scale.

You will help set strategy and operate our next-generation software defined networks. Responsibilities include:

  • Proficient with software methodologies and tools, including CI / CD pipeline.
  • Automation for redundant tasks to optimize Operations and Implementations.
  • Experience with network products and platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, ISR, etc.
  • Take on-call rotation to respond to high priority incidents and resolve issues.
  • Experience automation network configurations, onboarding or device management.

You will work with motivated team of engineers that are passionate about running network at scale. The team supports all of Cisco's workforce access to the network (Wired, Wireless and Remote), so you will be surrounded by specialists who make the special things happen!

Who You Are

  • You have BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years in networking engineering and automation
  • You are a leader with vision and can influence decisions with your knowledge and expertise.
  • You have experience working with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
  • You are CCNA R&S or have equivalent knowledge
  • You are proficient in common software tools / platforms for deploying software and automation (Python, git, NSO preferred - DNAC, VManage, Firepower Management Center ideal)"
