The CETO - CRM Engineering & Transformation Office Team is responsible for all Lifecycle processes and systems that are anchored on delivering the best customer and partner experience including Market-to-Lead, Order-to-Cash, Service Delivery, Customer Success to Support-to-Advocacy, Renewal to Booking, and key processes in the customer / partner journey.

 

What You'll Do:

 


We have a superb opportunity for a Mulesoft Developer to join our team in Service Delivery. Develop your knowledge of the Cisco Digital Customer Experience and be a part of a team that is improving the customer experience across the racetrack. You will work with multi-functional IT, Operations teams, and hardworking developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop applications that make it easier for Cisco managers and engineers to manage Cisco Delivery Project finance, tasks, staffing. You will be interacting directly with Product Owners, Business Analyst, Technical Architects and IT development teams as part of your project work to develop committed release scope.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
  • Implement and support Salesforce integrations with other internal and external systems
  • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Develop and maintain Visualforce, Apex, and Lightning components
  • Develop APIs and integrations that connect various systems and applications
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to integration and API development
  • Manage the Salesforce development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and user guides
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and features in the MuleSoft & Salesforce platform and integration technologies

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
  • Proficient in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, and SOQL
  • Experience with integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP)

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or other Salesforce products
  • Basic understanding of Snowflake Scripting, Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Basic programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or other relevant languages
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, process builders, and flows
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange and third-party applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II) is highly desirable

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter.  Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
