Enterprise Networking Group (ENG) has the charter for all Platform Independent and Platform Dependent software development across Switching (for data center, campus core and campus access), wireless, network services, routing, optical software and Enterprise routing and cable access. This includes all the Operating Systems and network services for IOS/XE in Enterprise, IOS-XR in Service Provider and NX-OS in Data Center market segments The Cisco's ENG India seeks a Software Engineers to build, lead and empower a high-performance engineering development team responsible for crafting and bringing new software to market. Working collaboratively with sales, marketing and other multi-functional partners, the manager defines and aligns team and business priorities. You bring a track record of success in a similar role, strong interpersonal skills, and a can-do attitude.

What You'll Do

Cisco's Digital Network Architecture Centre is a next gen SDN based management solution to lead enterprise, fabric\non fabric and device management of enterprise networking portfolio. Enterprise networking (ENG) portfolio is multibillion dollar growing business.

The Portfolio of this team includes the Automation and Assurance aspects (a.k.a, provisioning, reporting, monitoring, serviceability, trouble shooting) of ENG product portfolios.

Who You Are:

You will participate on project teams defining and developing creative new products based on Cisco technology.

Key functions are to:

Develop, improve, verify and sustain SDN based management software for complex internetworking products as a key member of a multi-functional team.

Perform design trade-off analysis, write software specifications, code, integrate and test new software and hardware, complete product release, and provide field support.

Work with Business Development, External Partners, Hardware Engineering, QA Test and Release Operations throughout the development cycle.

Key success skill factors are:

7-10 years of Industry experience. Hands on experience on End to End Software project development in a network company environment will be added plus.

Knowledge of or validated experience with NMS/EMS/SDN

Desired to have networking protocols.

Strong JAVA\JEE\BACKBONE\ANGULAR JS\HTML 5\Python\CSS\RUBY programming skills and familiarity with large software development projects

Self starter with good communication and interpersonal skills, with confirmed ability to develop and deliver superior products in a multi-functional team environment under ambitious schedule
