What You have for us

  • You love the challenge of solving problems that improve people’s and your customers' lives
  • You are self-educating and self-motivated through curiosity, a passion for building and an unruly desire to do good.
  • You’ll collaborate with a fun and close-knit agile team to architect, implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.
  • You hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science OR equivalent.
  • You are a seasoned programmer, and you know: C, bash script, Python, Lua, Java (or at least 3 of these.)
  • You have knowledge of Linux, Linux internal, Linux socket programming
  • You have In-depth understanding of programming concepts, OO methodologies, and systems programming

Not Mandatory but nice to have several of the following:

  • Understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience in some of these technology areas: Modern Compilers and code generation techniques, Software and licensing management of devices, Operating system and product security, Crypto, In Service Patching, High Availability, Deep Packet Inspection, YANG Data Model development, Netconf/RestConf, Google RPC, Google Protocol buffers
  • Passionate about unit test automation
  • Experience in troubleshooting, debugging sophisticated systems and possess excellent problem-solving techniques
  • Understanding of threading/locking models, synchronization/concurrency issues, multi-core scaling, non-blocking IO programming etc.

What you will do (a typical day):

  • Think about customer use case and deployment scenarios and continuously innovate and improvise to make customer's life easy
  • Work with product teams to design and implement features, application logic, back-end systems and robust and scalable architectures
  • Write requirement, architecture and design specs, unit test plans
  • Design/Code/Test in a CI/CD environment
  • Champion in unit test automation
  • Review documents and code written by rest of the team
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality from documentation, coding and automated checks
  • Work independently on complex issues and implement optimal solutions on a predetermined timeline
  • Work with product marketing and product engineering to understand and craft product roadmap
  • Coach and mentor Junior team members
