Who We Are? 

We are the Data Center Network Services team within Cisco IT that supports network services for Cisco Engineering and business functions worldwide. Our mission is simple – build the network of the future that is adaptable and agile on Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), a software-defined networking solution.  

ACI is deployed, monitored, and managed with a DevOps approach to support rapid application changes.  We invest in transformative technologies that enable us to deliver services in a fast and reliable manner.  

 

What you’ll do

  • Learn and grow your professional skills on software and technology 

  • Work with highly talented engineers to develop and deliver software solutions to manage and support Data Center Network services 

  • Participate on design, develop, test and deploy DC network SDN capabilities within Data Center Network.  

  • You will create innovative, high-quality capabilities enabling our clients the best possible experience.  

 

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with some project exposure on network software solutions 

  • Very strong programming skills, experience in software development lifecycle methodologies, including design, development, testing, packaging, deployment, upgrade and support. 

  • Working knowledge of Python, Ansible, or similar programming languages, exposure to QA technique and test tools, such as SonarQube 

  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, software engineering, be able to read and understand code, API development, etc.
