The Team
Cisco Collaboration Technology Group is looking for talented software developers to join us in providing the revolutionary, intuitive and delightful experiences to address enterprise and SMB collaboration needs, on mobile, desktop and hardware endpoints. As part of the Cloud Applications team, you would be responsible for building servers in the next generation of Cisco Collaboration cloud. Role & Responsibilities

 

* You will work within an agile development environment with other developers to design, develop and deliver world-class software solutions.* You will build efficient and reusable services that can scale to support large numbers of users.* You will be disciplined with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to production.* Play a crucial role in driving next-gen cloud software application innovations. You'll build applications that make technology accessible to people on a variety of devices. Imagine, design, and create solutions to transform how we work, live, learn and play
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum QualificationsBS or MS degree in Computer Science OR equivalent years of relevant work experience.

* Minimum of 7 years of applicable work experience

* Experience programming multithreaded systems, building REST APIs, microservice architectures

* Experience of working with NoSQL database such as Cassandra

* Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies

* Strong knowledge of programming in Java and scripting languages

* Experience in real time collaboration tools, web and video conferencing will be a huge plus

* Possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills

* Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with the extended team

* Excellent verbal and written skills
