Description:  

Service & Logistics (S&L) is part of Supply Chain Operations (SCO) organization responsible for delivering the best Customer Experience and outcomes for our customers and partners through Service RMA lifecycle. 

The Territory Manager (TM) is a S&L point of contact for a defined Territory and/or Customer group. The TM acts at a trusted advisor with peer groups in S&L to support their stakeholders including but not limited to CX, Sales, Renewals, Customer Assurance, and TAC.   

The TM will operate within the scope of relationship management, service capabilities, and optimizing services to: 

Responsibilities:   

  • Interpret and recommend actions to Cisco supply chain based upon industry and geo-political impacts  
  • Support stakeholders through deal and renewal readiness  
  • Facilitate deal delivery readiness to mitigating risk for Cisco and Service & Logistics  
  • Support executive escalations through coordination of supply chain resources to agreeable outcomes  
  • Collaborate on building Services & Logistics supply chain educational materials for stakeholders and delivering through scalable means including self-service  
  • Partner with SCO organization to cross reference educational materials  
  • Optimize existing services through stakeholder engagement at appropriate time within sales and renewal lifecycle to positively impact SOTP (Service On Time Performance) 
  • Collaborate on tool improvements in support of supply chain data required for stakeholder engagements 
  • Engage with major Partners to build relationship, and develop efficient and sustainable operations each other 

Skills or Experience required:  

  • 8+ years of professional experience within an account management, supply chain logistics, service delivery, or customer executive roles  
  • Be a trusted advisor to S&L stakeholders service supply chain inquiries  
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, in a General Manager-like capacity  
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco go-to-market, sales and renewal sales motions  
  • Consistent track record in cross-functional collaboration, establishing relationships, and driving successful outcomes in a matrixed environment  
  • Ability to represent entire logistics organization to the field and to customers / partners 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you are empowered to make decisions and drive the business  
  • Ability to work effectively and influence across multiple functions: e.g. peers, the sales community, management and executive level within and outside of Cisco  
  • Languages: Excellent in Communication relevant to local language. (English and Japanese)  
  • Strong communications & influence skills, experience speaking publicly & working with partners at all levels, producing exec level content and conducting exec conversations  
  • Emotional Intelligence with ability to escalate or deescalate situations as needed.

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
