Senior Systems Architect in Cisco are technical leads and trusted advisors to our customers and partners that advice and support Sales teams with pre-sales and deep technical knowledge.


You will get to work across a vast portfolio of Switching, Routing, Wireless Lan, Network Orchestration, Data-Center, Collaboration, Security and Cloud solutions, showcasing product solutions, setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits. You will touch a variety of Cisco Enterprise Networking, DC/Cloud and observability solutions.


What You'll Do

  • You’ll set the pace for the next generation of Cisco sales processes and provide leadership and guidance to the BUs and Marketing as the voice of the customer.
  • You will partner with other members of different organizations and Sales teams in a pre-sales technical role mostly in Public Sector (including MOD) accounts and will also work with our Partners
  • You will be as a trusted advisor in an account(s) to demonstrate the business value of Cisco platforms, solutions, architectures, and services by aligning opportunities with a 3-5 year cross-architectural vision.
  • You will understand the customer needs in high level solutions design.
  • You will bring, demonstrate and provide POC new networking technologies to market.
  • You will liaise with the Business Units and Technical Marketing to understand our products, technologies and Services.
  • Our goal is to help our partners refine their go-to-market strategy and technical portfolio.
  • Prepare model RFP's and response to customer RFP's and RFI’s.
  • Conduct training and technical workshops for Customers, Partners and Internal teams.
  • Understand competitor offerings and provide input to the sales team on product positioning and differentiation.
  • Escalate and escort post-sales critical issues, by coordinating and working with all internal and external partners.

Who You Are

  • You bring more than 3 years of pre-sales engineering or technical customer facing experience
  • You have thorough understanding and deep dive into some or all of the following technologies: Switching, Routing, Wireless LAN, Network Orchestration, Data Center, Cloud, Security.
  • Knowledge of sales-cycle.
  • You bring deep understanding of the market space, competition and offerings.
  • You adept at using initiative, discretion and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities.
  • You participate in customer interactions from the CIO through to technical staff, understand the LOB of the customer and move the technical values into the business values.
  • Deep Knowledge of Cisco products and Cisco certifications are preferred.
  • Preferably you have CCNP or CCIE certifications.
  • You have BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
  • ou have the ability to work autonomously and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.
  • You write and speak English fluently.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to train, develop and coach others in our enterprise technologies.
