About the team:
MX QA team takes pride in ensuring the quality of end-to-end functionality of the entire Meraki MX product line. This team works very closely with the MX Dash development and MX Firmware teams to ensure any new changes deployed to the Dashboard are of very high quality. The team prevents deterioration in customer experience by performing manual and automation tests on networks that are based on customer deployments when any new features and changes are introduced. The team works on, but is not limited to, testing functionality, customer use-cases, integration testing, scalability testing, stress and longevity testing.
About the Job:
Meraki is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join to support qualifying our SD-WAN product offerings. You will focus on end-to-end testing, to ensure our latest hardware appliances and dashboard work together seamlessly. As a Software QA Engineer, your responsibility includes designing and building testbeds, creating and implementing functional tests that resemble customer use-case for SD-WAN and Security solutions, and contributing to industry-leading technologies in the cloud ecosystem. Being a Software QA engineer, you need to develop robust validations for current and future customer use cases. As a part of a geographically distributed team, you will collaborate with multiple Meraki engineering teams and stakeholders around the globe. To be successful in this role, you will need to have motivation, curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and experience with networking technologies and automation as a breath.
In addition to test planning and performing testing on large-scale networks you will be part of implementing initiatives and enhancements to optimize and alleviate the team. You will gain firsthand knowledge about the quality of the changes and be able to guide the team in improving the quality before we start deployments.
