What You’ll Do...

  • We invite you to join our growing “Cloud FMC” group to create the systems that are foundational in supporting our rapidly expanding global customer base. As part of MSSP customer base, your responsibility would be to lead the CI/CD area and augment it further to bring superior quality in cdFMC and deliver MSSP customer asks to meet the growing needs of these customers. You will be a part of our cdFMC team, within Cisco’s Security Business Group (SBG).
  • Lead a team of exceptionally talented cloud FMC engineers to deliver SaaS Platform for FMC, focused on operational efficiency and timely delivery like clockwork.
  • Collaborate across Cloud infrastructure team, FMC Team, Escalation and Technical assistance team to deliver and support cdFMC

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree (or above) in computer science or related field with 14+ years of overall software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing high performing teams.
    • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership, managing and overseeing delivery of critical platform engineering and devops projects.
    • Experience in automated deployment pipelines and DevOps best practices.
    • Highly skilled in Cloud Native, Microservices and Event Driven Architecture.
    • Hands-on coding knowledge on Java, along with any of the scripting language like Python / Perl / Bash.
    • Knowledge of ansible and terraform for OPS work
    • Deep knowledge of AWS provided services is a must
    • Strong fundamentals of data structures, algorithms, design patterns and async- programming.
    • Managing teams using Agile software development practices and tools. 

Nice to have: 

    • A proven understanding of security best-practices in web development.
    • Network Security and related devices and services would be good
    • MSSP Domain knowledge will help
    • Experience of working and collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Share
