Who are we:

Engineering Business is a team responsible for switching, routing and wireless product groups in India. The Catalyst Engineering teams in India are driving some of the key next generation products and is responsible for significant product portfolio for Cisco. You will work with the team that is driving the evolution and expansion into new technology areas and market segments - fastest growing Catalyst switch product line

What You'll Do:

You will be part of Cisco's highest revenue products. You will help craft, develop, test and document Switching software in support of the total design effort.

Who You Are:

  • You demonstrate a system-level focus while understanding the impact of every component.
  • You have good knowledge of and exposure to network protocols as well as customer profiles and solutions are important for success in this role.

Technical Expertise/Ask:

  • Experience: 5+ years with strong command on C/C++ programming and Device drivers
  • Experience in working with embedded platforms, various operating systems viz Linux, VxWorks, RTOS internals.
  • Exposure on Device drivers viz PCIE/I2C/eMMC/SDHC /MDIO/USBs and
  • Good experience on Storage devices – NAND/NOR with exposure to file system internals.

Preferred:

  • Cisco Networking certificates, such as CCIE, CCNP, etc

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
