"The Senior Software Development Engineer/ TECHNICAL LEADER.SOFTWARE ENGINEERING will be responsible for automating Infrastructure delivery and operation while partnering with multiple partners. Responsibilities include:

Full solution design and problem solving

Long-term project vision

Third-party software and service troubleshooting

High-complexity workflow design and implementation

Understands and communicates business value

Coordinates team process workflows

Creates internal development standards

Crafts libraries for cross-team code reusability

Database / Data Science specialist

Develops solutions utilizing AI/ML where appropriate

Owns end-to-end process

Mentors all members of team

Outside view on technologies - keeping up with tech trends.

Representing Cisco at events - Re:invent, CiscoLive.

Who You Are

You are a full stack engineer who builds solutions that will be accessible to people globally on a variety of devices. You will imagine, craft and build solutions to transform how we, our Customers and Partners work and learn. You are self-motivated, inventive, multifaceted and will play a crucial role in driving next-generation innovations in digital customer experience space. Minimum requirements include:

Minimum 10+ years of applicable work experience.

Web Front End Technologies: HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular

Web Frameworks: Django, Django REST framework, Flask

Basic Database Experience: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle

Advance Programming Languages: Strong Python experience

In-depth software testing (functional, unit, integration, non-functional, performance, stress, security, etc)

Experience working with third party APIs and SDKs

CI/CD tool experience: Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, uDeploy or similar

Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development

Analytical problem solver and ability to work to get the required information to achieve the task

Willingness and ability to lead and mentor more junior engineers

Desired skills:

IT Technologies: Basic understanding for Storage/Compute – working knowledge but specialist in applications in API based interaction

Single sign on – working knowledge, willing to learn and acquire the knowledge for application integration

Application security - experience in resolution and implementation

Cloud and Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, Openshift, Mesos or similar"
