Who We Are

Within Cisco’s Security & Trust Organization (S&TO), our security engineering team develops and delivers industry-leading foundational security technologies, which are broadly deployed across Cisco’s offer portfolio & infrastructure.  These Trustworthy Technologies enable customer differentiating, pervasive security with a “secure by default” posture.

Our portfolio of Trustworthy Technologies & services spans cryptography, image signing, hardware & software attestation, anti-counterfeit, and cloud security technologies. Our Cryptographic Services (CS) team delivers centralized, high-availability, cryptographically focused services for Cisco offers and infrastructure, including software signing, TLS certificates, device certificates and secrets & key management.

What You'll Do

Engaging in a highly cross-functional manner across Cisco’s security engineering and business unit (BU) development teams, the Product Manager will help define, guide and evangelize adoption of these differentiating security technologies & services.  As a thought leader, a particular focus will be the delivery and deployment of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) technologies, supporting Cisco’s industry leading transition.

Working in an Agile/lean development environment, with your security and market insights, as a Product Owner you will own responsibility for a security technology roadmap, prioritizing engineering activities and investments, aligned to business value.

A portfolio owner, with technical vision and business insights, you will help establish and drive security technology strategy, roadmaps, gap analysis and PoCs, while championing broad, systematic adoption of our security technologies & services.

This critical, high visibility role blends security domain technical expertise, an eye for business, and people influencing soft skills.

Who You'll Work With

The role of the Product Manager is to define, deliver & evangelize our security technologies and services, ultimately enabling broad adoption of these differentiating security technologies & services across Cisco’s offer portfolio & infrastructure.

With keen interpersonal skills, the Product Manager will earn the trust and respect of collaborators and influence via demonstrated expertise in security and applied cryptography & secrets management. Using a co-development model, approachable style, and a client-centric perspective, you will enable common cryptographic security solutions, benefiting both Cisco offer teams and our end-customers.

Additionally, with your security and industry insights, you will help define, shape, and drive the future direction of our security portfolio. You will partner closely with our development engineering team, and broadly across Cisco’s security community and offer BU teams, as well as with a range of Cisco’s security-sensitive customers. To accomplish your objectives, you will engage from the individual contributor through senior executive levels, establishing trusted advisor relationships with key security stakeholders.
