- Work with customers and partners in evangelizing technology trends and Cisco architectures with a strong focus on Security and Secure Networking.
- Develop & build offer catalogues with Cisco portfolio and partner services
- Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key revenue, efficiency and user experience of the enterprise.
- Work with customers and partners on developing a business case, business architecture roadmap and functional architecture , services and technology capabilities
- Develop an engagement framework workshop methodology to capture customer / partner’s challenges & problems
- Develop a return-on-investment model to align technology roadmap to business value & outcomes
- Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development and building the roadmap for partner (and customer) solutions and offers.
- Define roadmap and delivery phases to attain target state solutions, which drives business outcomes for customers (and the Partner)
- Deliver solution architectures for various capabilities that comprise multi-domain architectures.
- Deliver architectures that can overlay and embedded security controls in underlying network infrastructure.
- Craft and identify requirements for operations and the automation for the operation of enterprise capabilities across the network segments.
- Design and identify requirements and solutions for monitoring, compliance, detection and response.
- Work with customers, Cisco Partners and sales teams as the enthusiast and trusted advisor to position Cisco's vision. Including, the formulation of project execution and delivery strategies.
- Advises and recommends enterprise architecture strategies, processes and methodologies.
- Recommends and participates in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the customers’ objectives are consistent with the enterprise's long term business objectives
- 12+ years of proven experience defining and implementing whole of enterprise network security architecture
- Deeper understanding of Cisco & Splunk technologies and Certifications desired.
- Knowledge and experience in security capabilities of software defined networking
- Experience in delivery of network security architecture covering datacenter, network core, WAN, branch and edge and understanding of differing technologies and capabilities
- Having a good understanding of both Enterprise and Service provider Networks/ environments would be an advantage
- Deep subject matter expertise in industrial operational networks, digital solutions
- Understanding of industry standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, Cloud services & Capability, 3GPP, ITU X.805 and relevance of standards in delivery network security architecture
- Extensive experience with cross architecture standard methodologies and goals.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, Critical analysis and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of DevOps, SecOps and netops and Cisco/Splunk relevance
- Understanding of Platforms , ability to leverage platforms to drive outcomes
- Strong Understanding of partner Cloud models , partner business model & routes to markets
- Deep technology understanding of Cisco & Splunk technologies and industry solutions will be an added advantage
- Ability to have business value conversations with line of business and executives on as a service models and trends and become the trusted advisor to the CISO
- Understanding Of security controls, tools and framework for enterprise security and zero trust model.
- Strong understanding Of Partner business model and managed services capability
- University/college degree equivalent is encouraged and an advanced degree is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills. Excellent command on English and Local Language.
When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
