Who You Are: 


  • You have experience executing as a senior engineer in agile DevOps oriented teams and culture, using modern frameworks, technology, DevOps practices using infrastructure as code tools

  • You have outstanding capability in enabling high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring & alerts, automation and continuous high performance for cloud-native SaaS applications supporting a global customer base

  • Hands on experience in designing, enabling and executing DevOps pipelines

  • You have experience in automation with configuration management tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS.

  • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform..

  • 3+ years of experience running Kubernetes clusters and docker containers.  


Nice To Have

  • Experience with programming Python or Golang

  • Experience with Datadog/AppDynamics for observability 

  • Familiarity with large-scale, distributed relational and NoSQL databases 

  • Experience building or maintaining infrastructures for FedRAMP compliance



What You'll Do: 

  • Be responsible for building a FedRAMP compliant infrastructure for Cisco’s security business group.

  • Partner with security, application and infrastructure teams to instrument a streamlined life cycle of change from Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments

  • Apply your experience implementing infrastructure as code, transforming release pipelines and deploying into production with a NoOps mindset on highly performant DevOps pipelines.

  • Facilitate a disciplined approach to ensuring the predictability and quality of deployments

  • Benchmark & optimize key operations metrics, ensure we meet operational SLAs.

  • Support incident responders in analyzing applicable threats, vulnerabilities, controls and residual risks within the FedRAMP boundary

  • Analyze and harden existing applications, infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes partnering with multiple teams to implement solutions within the space

  • Define scope and requirements for new services and changes within the FedRAMP boundary and work with cross functional teams to achieve certification and remediate audit findings
