We’re looking for an engineer to help define the future of Authentication for our Integrated Security architecture. The team is building an Authentication Service as well as an API Gateway to integrate all Cisco Security Products with a unified platform. Together, we’ll improve the life of Cisco security customers as they seamlessly create accounts and sign into the Cisco Security Products to protect their business from any security threat.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of a Functional Programming Language: Clojure, Haskell, Purescript
  • Strong programming, debugging, and problem solving skills
  • Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT and SAML

Description

As an Authentication Services Engineer, you will invent new features and take them through the software development process, spanning from prototyping, coding, debugging, and through to shipping and communicating with all Cisco Security Teams. You will empathize with the people who will use the platform and listen to their feedback to improve existing services and help decide where the team’s attention should go next. Throughout the process, you will work closely with the rest of the team and with other teams, including all Cisco security Products.

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science, or related field, or experience with software engineering.
