Cisco seeks an Account Manager in North Texas to drive growth through the development and expansion of customer and channel relationships. This territory extends throughout North Texas focusing on our Select accounts of various sizes and industries, and our customers have national and often global footprints. You'll be leading growth in a commercial territory with historically strong performance success, and you will be doing so utilizing a channels to market sales and distribution model.

- To ensure market share growth, you will build the appropriate channel coverage model and strong relationships with our partners.

- You will have a strong dedication to enabling partners and their inside and field sales teams; you will also be responsible for planning for and execution of partner engagements.

- You will accurately report sales activity to Cisco management.

Who You'll Work With
You will target market opportunities leveraging internal and external resources to build a new business portfolio while growing sales penetration within a target account list of 25+ existing customers.

Who You Are
You bring strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting the Cisco installed base.

- You have 5+ years of being one of the top sales professionals in your organization.

- You have a consistent record of success running a large territory, demand generation, partner development, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, communicating business transformational solutions via sales presentations, and managing short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunities.

- Your ability to deliver business value to both End Users and Partners is second to none.

- You possess strong technical and business knowledge and acumen with complementary skills to understand the customer's business drivers and align them to Cisco solutions.

- You demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.

- You are an aggressive self-starter with the ability to articulate Cisco product and business strategies and create the demand to close the deal.

- Expectation is that you bring at least 5 years of shown success in outside sales. Experience selling Software, Enterprise Agreements, Unified Communications, Data Center/Virtualization/Server/Storage Solutions, Security, and/or Enterprise Networks. Knowledge of the business partner community/customer base is preferred.

- BA/BS preferred, or equivalent work experience.
