APJC Segment Marketing Communications Manager

 

Role Responsibilities:

·       Define, develop, and oversee end-to-end execution of the Small Business Demand Gen Marketing Strategy and Plan focusing on new routes to market including Service Provider as a Channel (SPaaCH), Managed Service Provider (MSPs), E Commerce Partners or Partners focusing on building a small business practice

·       Identify the needs of the APJC Partners by working with cross-functional teams within Cisco to ascertain which programs should be built to support their objectives as well as ensuring they align to the company’s overall goals and campaign

  • Orchestrate marketing programs execution in Country and Theater – with a clear understanding of the product, solution, services, and channels partners to generate awareness, pipeline and opportunity
  • Be the APJC subject matter expert on all marketing communication tools/resources and martech stack available within Cisco
  • Work cross functionally with Architecture Marketing team to develop strategic omnichannel strategies for product, brand, program launches. Work to develop long term always-on architecture strategies.
  • Identify other potential opportunities to enhance messaging to partners, including Cisco.com, online banner ads, content syndication, social/blog and partner communities
  • Manage localization of messaging to a geographically diverse audience
  • Write and/or edit outbound communications internally and externally
  • Manage agency relationships

·       Report marketing results, program effectiveness and required improvements at weekly team meetings and quarterly business reviews. Share best practices

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of marketing communication experience, a plus if candidate with a partner/channel marketing, also in Service Provider
  • Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Have experience working closely with sales, product marketing, PR, and field marketing
  • High initiative, self-starter with hands-on approach
  • Eye for detail and creative development
  • Must be well organized, able to meet deadlines and have the ability to multitask and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Aptitude for technology and willingness to learn new technologies or processes; Eloqua, Cvent, Adobe Suite
  • Analytical and results-driven
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to find solutions in a dynamic and fluid environment
