What You'll Do
This is a strategic leadership role to measure and assess the security posture of Cisco’s infrastructure assets. This includes public and private cloud assets as well as physical and virtual assets. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of security engineers to deliver on our vision of high-fidelity security assessments. You will partner with leaders throughout Cisco including IT, Supply Chain, Engineering and Cisco’s Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT). You will drive executive-level initiatives to increase awareness of threats, improve traceability to Cisco’s asset portfolio and improve efficiency of our data.
You will also influence and manage integration efforts across many different services, tools and technologies to derive an integrated posture assessment and collaborate with consumers of this data to ensure the secure operations of our assets. You will also monitor, track & report progress to Cisco executives.
The engineering team consists of a diverse group of professionals that have a passion for software security. The team is driven to stay one step ahead of the rapidly evolving threat landscape, and we have fun while doing it! We operate in a fast-paced, agile, development environment. We leverage the simplicity of KANBAN and the power of continuous integration and deployment to accelerate our delivery of high quality software.

This role also requires strong alignment and partnership with all of our key stakeholder functions: Business Unit leadership, Engineering, Legal, Supply Chain, Security Incident Response (CSIRT), STO cross-functional leaders and Marketing, as well as external customers.

Become part Cisco's fast growing and exciting Software Cyber-Security team. We are actively building a next-generation security service designed to analyze assets in search of vulnerabilities, threats and overall security posture.
Who You Are
- Knowledge and understanding of security technology and cloud technology.
- 2+ years of progressive management experience
- Must have demonstrated experience in developing and deploying business initiatives across organizational functions with a strong focus on results
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with different audiences (staff to senior executives) and for different purposes (informational to persuasive)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to a successful outcome regardless of reporting structure and organizational level
- Ability to develop strategic goals and monitor, track and report progress.
