About You 

You have a proven track record of successfully documenting and communicating complex business requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.  You are able to transform these requirements into effective and innovative solutions on the platform.  You have experience implementing or administering CPQ applications.  You have:

  • 5-7 years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions, ideally using salesforce.comin an enterprise environment

  • Deep knowledge of selling, forecasting, quote-to-cash, and license provisioning business processes

  • Experience leading user requirement sessions focussed on quote-to-cash processes

  • Experience writing detailed specifications of user requirements, business processes and procedures required to develop and implement software solutions

  • Experience communicating with senior VPs to drive alignment amongst business stakeholders from divergent functions.

  • Deep knowledge of the platform, including complex configuration, data models and governance.

  • Implementation and/or administrative experience with Salesforce CPQ or a similar tool

  • Deep knowledge of advanced pricing models, bundle design and document generation in a CPQ tool

  • Desire to work independently in a fast-paced high-growth team environment.

  • Project management experience

  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

  • Experience with Oracle BMX, Netsuite and ETL tools are a plus.

  • Knowledge of scrum or agile processes are a plus.

About The Role

AppDynamics’ Business Information Systems Team is looking for a Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst to support the Order Operations, Revenue, and Billing teams collaborating in quote-to-cash and license provisioning business processes.  You will work closely with these business units to scope, design and implement high quality technical solutions in and CPQ. Responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain project documentation: (business requirements and solution design documents, test plans)

  • Collaborate with your team or project lead to evaluate and prioritize business requests within an evolving backlog

  • Ensure that requests from the various quote-to-crash business units are effectively qualified, prioritized and executed

  • Collaborate with your team or project lead to design best in class solutions with Salsforce and CPQ declarative features

  • Collaborate with developers as needed to design and build programmatic solutions

  • Configure new product bundles, price rules, product rules, quote templates, and guided selling rules

  • Stay informed of CPQ release timing and feature releases for implementation into AppDynamics’ Salesforce environments

  • Perform unit and end-to-end testing for all tasks and assigned projects

  • Plan and execute end user training and testing of new Salesforce or CPQ features

  • Deploy features according to defined agile schedule
