About You

Most importantly, you have a proven track record of successfully documenting and communicating complex business requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences. You have:

  • 2-3 years experience delivering enterprise software solutions using in an enterprise environment

  • Advanced knowledge of SFDC configuration features including but not limited to validation and workflow rules, security models, lightning capabilities, dataloading

  • Experience writing detailed specifications of user requirements, business processes and procedures required to develop and implement software solutions.

  • Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver enhancements through an agile sprint process

  • Experience collaborating with business systems analysts and developers

  • Experience working in an agile development environment

  • Experience testing Salesforce customization and writing test cases

  • Experience communicating with business unit leaders to drive alignment on project goals and deliverable expectations

  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

  • Desire to work independently in an extremely fast-paced high-growth team environment.

  • Experience with any of the following applications are a plus: Salesforce CPQ, Marketo, FinancialForce PSA, JIRA and ETL tools

About the Role


AppDynamics’ Business Information Systems Team is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to support the sales, marketing and customer success organizations. The person in this role will work closely with the Senior Business Analysts and stakeholders to scope, design and implement high quality technical solutions in and other systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Configure efficient and scalable solutions for assigned sprint tasks

  • Proactively complete assigned tasks in alignment with the sprint schedule

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers within the BIS Team

  • Actively participate in scheduled scrum ceremonies: sprint loading, backlog grooming, demos

  • Document and perform unit and end-to-end testing for smaller sprint tasks  and in larger projects

  • Demo configured solutions to team members and business stakeholders

  • Ensure configured solutions are successfully deployed

  • Contribute towards project documentation as necessary: (project plans, requirement documentation, test case documentation)

  • Collaborate with stakeholder departments throughout the organization, focusing on marketing, sales, and post-sales

  • Ensure timely and detailed communication with stakeholders on deliverables and escalations
