What You'll Do

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Team in the UK within our Customer Interaction Management (CIM) Suite within the Cisco Webex / IMImobile division. Specifically, this Senior Product Manager role is for our imicampaign product within CIM.

imicampaign is a cloud-based cross-channel campaign management solution designed for marketing teams within large B2C businesses.

This is great opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to hone their already existing craft of B2B SaaS Product Management.


What are some of the main responsibilities?   

  • Understand the user persona of a B2C marketer role and use that understanding to design and specify great new features within imicampaign – so that our client marketer users can achieve their tasks faster and more easily and they can drive better outcomes for their businesses.
  • Meet regularly with key customer-facing teams (e.g. Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Sales) to collect and analyse user feedback to shape new product ideas and user requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with other Product Managers to contribute to the implementation of product vision & strategy
  • Gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative product feedback from various sources including pre-sales, sales and professional services to incorporate it into the product roadmap and new features
  • Define and review user stories/epics/features and participate in technical design and architecture reviews; Convert feature ideas to wireframes, mock-ups , prototypes
  • Contribute to the development of customer facing tutorials, demos, and other collateral to drive the go-to-market activities
  • Contribute to the Product Release Notes for every new product release
  • Stay on top of the market and competitions in the space of customer communications SaaS products.
  • Contribute to the planning the product roadmap
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to plan and deliver features on time.
  • Help pre-sales team in replying to RFP questions
  • Provide support to sales/ pre-sales with client demos
  • Act as one of the subject expert points of contact for the stakeholders and users regarding the product.


What are the attributes of the ideal candidate?  

  • A minimum of 5-6 years’ Product Management experience for a B2B SaaS product company. Preferred Product Management experience in the domain of Digital Marketing / Customer Communications software or Customer Data Platform (CDP) software. 
  •  Alternatively a minimum of 7-8 years’ experience working in a B2C Direct Marketing agency environment with experience of B2C marketing with personalised communications by Email and /or Mobile Push notifications.
  • A strong Bachelor’s in degree from a recognized university
  • Strong customer and stakeholder empathy. You must be able to analyse a problem/feature/requirement from the perspective of multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent clear oral and written English communication, documentation, and prototyping skills
  • Experience building mock-ups and prototypes using tools such as Axure , Balsamiq etc.
  • Strong awareness of what differentiates a great vs not-so-great User Experience (UX) on a web application and how to design User Interfaces (UI) that will improve UX
  • Ability to think creatively and solve the problem – knowing the constraints
  • Well versed in emerging technologies and trends within SaaS product space (ideally Customer Experience and Customer Communications)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different stakeholders: technical developers, QA , sales , pre-sales
  • Ability to work well with and quicky develop good working relationship with technical developers and QA team members who may be working in different time zones and who may be from different countries / cultures
  • Strong analytical capabilities - should be able to understand and contextually analyse a requirement to arrive at the optimal solution
  • Awareness of and experience of working with agile iterative software development and product management practices used to build and deploy web apps and APIs
