Who You'll Work With

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with Cisco Silicon One SDK development group,who are using cutting edge methodologies and technology to develop SDK for Data Center, switching, routing and security products. And also closely collaborates with the ASIC design group and Application support group.

 

What You'll Do

Be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SDK/firmware solutions with CPU subsystem for our high-performance router/switch in data center environments. 

 

1. Understand and analyze customer requirements.

2. Implement and validate customer requirement/application.

3. Diagnose and troubleshooting, working on networking protocols for switch/router and infrastructure products.

 

Who You Are

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

2. Proven experience in SDK/firmware development using C++/Python/Pearl for embedded systems.

3. Familiar with the Linux operating system

4. Familiar with networking protocols and data center architectures.

5. Have excellent English communication skills.

3. Is a team player with positive attitude and strong communication skills

5. Enjoy learning, self-learning which can quickly ramp into new domains

8. Knowledge on SONiC or networking OS is a plus

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
