What You'll Do

You will be responsible for building out the best-in-class portfolio development platform for Cisco investments. Using your extensive understanding of Cisco and the needs of our portfolio companies, you will bring the best resources, processes and programs to bear with the singular goal of Business enabling our portfolio companies.

  • You will operationalize Cisco Sales, GTM and Channel programs for Portfolio companies
  • You will leverage Cisco’s customer, sales and GTM programs to accelerate Portfolio companies’ time to market and revenue
  • You will leverage Cisco’s global channel presence and channel programs to accelerate Portfolio companies’ time-to-market and revenue
  • You will build credibility and manage relationships with influencers and key personas at customers’ and partners’ accounts
  • You will craft programs and methods of engagement that promote ongoing customer and partner access for portfolio companies
  • You will sponsor Portfolio companies’ presence at Cisco events (Cisco Live, Partner Summit, IMPACT etc) and Customer briefings globally.
  • You will build tight relationships with Cisco internal functions and programs to allow external innovation to be demonstrated by our world-class operations.
  • You will build joint selling and bold displacement opportunities
  • You can identify joint solutions that combine Cisco and portfolio companies’ offerings based on customer and partner needs and challenges
  • You will crystallize discussions with customers and partners and bring market insights and dynamics back to Corporate BD team
  • You will partner with the Cisco Innovation labs team to sponsor and grow Cisco portfolio company presence at these labs
  • Through a tight relationship with Corporate Business Development Deal Managers, you can identify target investments early and help accelerate their time to value.
  • You will identify and grow collaborative opportunities within the Cisco investments portfolio by connecting portfolio companies to each other to improve market impact
  • You will partner with Country Digitization teams to build and execute on opportunities to introduce Portfolio companies in country sales motion
  • You will leverage social media and Cisco’s internal marketing programs to continue to foster the Cisco Investments Brand.
  • You will build and execute custom programs to demonstrate vast set of Cisco APIs by Cisco portfolio companies.

Who You'll Work With

Cisco investments is a key pillar of Cisco’s innovation strategy, by delivering strategic go-to-market related capabilities to our portfolio companies, this role will build a differentiated investment development platform which will consistently attract the best Corp VC deals in the market.

Who You Are

Our Minimum Requirements for this Role Are:

  • 8+ years Industry experience in sales/channels business development and GTM functions
  • A demonstrated ability to lead by influence
  • A track record of building and sustaining long term relationships
  • Able to make sense of and bring structure to complex environments
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous and evolving environment
  • Extraordinary communicator to different audiences and levels of seniority
  • Experience across Sales, Marketing and Channels functions preferred
  • Product management, Entrepreneurship and startup experience a plus
  • MBA preferred
