The Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) is taking big steps to position Cisco as the #1 IT Security provider in the industry. In addition to having the right market conditions, capabilities, products and services, we need the right people to take us there. GSSO is seeking a Regional Manager to lead our Enterprise Central team. You’ll play a pivotal role in sale strategy and process, advancing the Cisco Sales team and making our customers’ lives better and more secure.

What You’ll Do
We believe that people plus technology equals transformation. When you work with us, you’ll play a pivotal role in sales strategy and process. Enthusiastically, you’ll use your technical knowledge to lead customer discussions, advance the sales process, and motivate Account Managers.
Direct executive engagement will be your primary function, so we want you to focus on business outcomes rather than making sales. On top of that, internal supporting teams and external partners will look to you to coordinate the team effort, too. Because you’re in the lead, we’ll look to you to make important resource decisions to apply corporate and account team resources to the creation of new opportunities.

With the exception of the public sector, our broad portfolio includes every size of customer across all vertical markets.
Who You Are
A confident executive-level communicator and senior level coach, you’re a master at developing talent. You’re an innovative thinker who’s won large projects through solution selling and has a track record of superior strategy execution. Because you’re social and compassionate, it’s a snap to build customer and partner relationships, and your understanding of the commercial/enterprise sector—especially in manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services—is encyclopedic.
Since earning your BA (or, preferably, a Masters or MBA), you’ve had at least 10 years’ sales experience in account and channel and at least 3 as a Sales Manager, and you’re well-versed in a broad range of security technologies and Cisco solutions.
