Our sales team is the heartbeat of the EMEA business, and as we enter a new chapter with aggressive growth plans are now seeking a Manager Sales Specialist to join the business in the UK&I.


Responsible for leading, developing, and growing a field sales team.

What You'll Do:

As a Regional Sales Leader, you will need to be an outstanding coach and mentor, able to build and develop a team of top sales talent. Evangelise our scientific, leading indicator and sales methodology, and drive adoption and expertise within the team to guarantee over-achievement against targets and quotas. You will collaborate with and leverage the wider established Cisco sales organisation and channel to scale and force multiply your sales resources and efforts.


Who You'll Work With:

Reporting to the Senior Director, and leading a team of 5-6 people, you will engage with all areas of the Pre and Post Sales function (including Marketing, Channel Teams, Legal, Finance, Operation). You will work closely with HR and be accountable for the hiring process within the team. You will work alongside your RD peers across UK&I and the rest of EMEA.


Work with channel teams, partners, technology partners and collaborate with colleagues in Cisco on a day-to-day basis.


Who You Are:

  • Strong background in complex software sales and have consistently overachieved against targets.
  • Ideally have a consistent record of growing, developing and leading software sales teams that smash quota, quarter on quarter.
  • Significant experience with MEDDIC (or equivalent) as a leading indicator driven sales processes.
  • Intimately understand the LAER model and be comfortable with running an ARR orientated function and the importance of post sales activities
  • Be comfortable in positioning and selling Professional Services.
  • Demonstrate a true “value based” sales approach and have experience explaining complex return on investment models to C level customers.
  • Be a pipeline generation master, specialist in driving direct sales from first touch to close.
  • Think differently, learn, and embrace new methodologies
  • Constantly look for solutions to problems, and how to solve business pains.
  • Natural champion builder and go above and beyond to add real value.
  • An entrepreneur - run your patch like a business and know that owning your own pipeline generation is fundamental to your success.
  • Don’t cut corners, even with SFDC hygiene
  • Understand how to build values with Channels
