As a business unit of Cisco Systems, Meraki is the fastest growing cloud-managed networking team in the world with products and technology architecture that are changing the face of enterprise networking and making cloud-managed IT a reality. Headquartered in San Francisco, the team has a growing international footprint with offices in Europe, Australia, Singapore, Japan, and China. We are currently 2000+ employees across the world and 400 in EMEAR. We want to maintain the agility and speed of a small company while leveraging the benefits of the global Cisco brand.

Human Resources have to be prepared for and thoughtful about current and future business needs. The most successful HR Business Partners in our organization are those who are able to connect with, advise, and coach leaders to help them grow teams that consistently deliver their best work. They are adept at forming relationships and dedicated to aligning the business’ needs with our people strategy. We are proud of our team and we are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for helping individuals develop and grow to meet the demands of the business both today and in the future.

What you will do:

  • Utilize best practices and sound judgment to help leaders make difficult, timely decisions
  • Coach senior leaders, helping them grow and develop and leverage processes to best manage their departments
  • Consult with leaders to help them navigate through employee issues, helping them understand the risks and benefits of different scenarios to make the best decision possible for the organization
  • Work with leaders to scope and execute great, global people projects (e.g., leader/employee development, organization design, compensation strategy design and implementation, etc.).
  • Help implement annual HR processes (talent assessment, performance reviews/career conversations, workforce planning, succession planning, etc.)
  • Use employee data to help leaders make informed, strategic decisions
  • Maintain a great working environment and culture for the business unit to help ensure we are living in alignment with Cisco Meraki’s mission, vision, and values
  • The ability to navigate across the EMEAR regions cultural barriers and working styles
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the EMEAR region to execute business/employee needs

We Are Cisco

#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference. Here’s how we do it.

We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. Some may think we’re “old” (30 years strong!) and only about hardware, but we’re also a software company. And a security company. An AI/Machine Learning company. We even invented an intuitive network that adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what we do – you can’t put us in a box!

But “Digital Transformation” is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)

Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best, we give our egos a break and we give of ourselves (because giving back is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, we take bold steps, and we take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and a commitment to equality for all, there is no moving forward.

So, you have colorful hair? Don’t care. Tattoos? Show off your ink. Like polka dots?
